Questions and answers
- How did you get started?
It all started back in 2007 when I was out of work and just needed to make some extra money to feed my family and 4 beautiful kids.
But then, I really liked it and I turned out to be a very excellent mover and packer. I just stuck with it from there and started doing my own business.
- What questions should a customer ask before hiring a professional in your trade?
Do the movers all have real professional experience and not just moving friends and family?
Do they provide all moving equipment included in their hourly prices?
Does the time start at customer's doorstep or at the mover's office?
- What services do you provide your customers after the work has finished?
Well, we can assemble and disassemble just about anything asked to do while on job site after a move.
- What would you recommend customers looking to save money?
First, hire us to come help you load and unload your rental truck. We always come ready to work hard and we bring all moving equipment.
Uhaul is awesome for local moves and Budget or Penske rental trucks are great for moving long distance.
Second, I would recommend buying packing supplies at Home Depot. It seems to be a great deal on bulk supplies.
- How many projects do you average in a year?
It's very hard to say; it really depends on the economy and how things go from year to year. But as most moving companies know, summer time is always the busy time of every year.
A 1 or 2-man moving crew can average 3-6 moves daily or 12-18 hour day on one move with either 2, 3 or 4 movers.
