  • What areas of your trade do you specialize in?

  • I specialize in 2 areas really; first, everywhere I perform I am told that I interact with the crowd like no DJ they have ever seen. I do this because I feel a DJ should be an entertainer, not just someone that stands behind their booth and push buttons.

  • What would you recommend customers looking to save money?

  • I would recommend that they look to save money somewhere other than their entertainment and food. Those are the two things that they AND their guests will remember the most. Your entertainment (or DJ in my case) sets the mood for the entire length of the event.

  • How many projects do you average in a year?

  • On average, I do approximately 3000 shows a year. That is including graduation parties, weddings, charity events, retirement parties, corporate functions, sweet sixteens, surprise birthday parties and of course, bars and clubs.

  • Tell us about the project or job that you are most proud of (in the last 12 months).

  • While performing at a local club, an activities director in a gated community was among those in the audience and she saw my performance and just simply asked me for a business card and nothing more. I didn't think anything of it because this happens quite often. The following Monday, I received a call from this young lady. She told me that she really enjoyed my performance and thought I would do well at the gated community she worked for and asked if I would be interested in trying it out for one show. I agreed and was a big hit among the residents. Now I am doing 4-5 shows there a year and they are a GREAT bunch of people and I am now good friends with many of them.

  • What brands or products do you work with?

  • I use and own nothing but professional gear from names like Mackie, Peavy, Numark, American DJ, Chauvet and HP, just to name a few.

  • How did you get started?

  • That's kind of a funny story. I enjoy singing and went with my sister and some friends to a local karaoke bar and ended up singing quite a few songs. Later on that night, the DJ and I got to talking and told me a had just the right personality for that type of work and offered me a job. I trained under him for several years and was constantly trying new things on my own and kind of made a name for myself and eventually went into business for myself.
