About Sherrie's Happy Ending Events LLC
Hello, I'm Sherrie Roberts and I own Sherrie's Happy Ending Events LLC. You can entrust the success of your special day to me. I am an experienced event planner and coordinator in Worcester, Massachusetts, offering party planning services.
I am an easy-going event coordinator. For the last 10 years, I have been planning all kinds of special events. One important thing that they all have in common is the less you stress, the bigger success.
If you want your event to go off without a hitch, you want to be able to communicate openly with your coordinator. By sharing our ideas, we can ensure that your event has the best outcome possible.
Whether it is for your child's 10th birthday party, or your own wedding, I can help make sure that your event is even better than hoped. Some of the events I can coordinate include:
- Weddings
- Fundraisers
- Barbecues
- Charity Events
- Corporate Parties
- Birthday Parties
I can plan an outstanding day for your fundraising event. I offer many different packages and pricing rates for quarter, half and full-day events. My services are available for events hosted either during the day, the night or both.
Make your child's next birthday party unforgettable with incredibly fun activities like bounce houses, piñatas or water games during the summer.
For adult parties, I can plan everything from family barbecues to outings at nightclubs, restaurants, bars or any other location you desire.
You simply tell me your dream event and I begin planning to make it happen. Contact me today!
Questions and answers
- What information do you recommend to have readily available before looking for a professional in your trade?
The most important thing when looking for an event planner is have an estimated budget and an estimate date.
Event planners will stay within your budget and within your time frame to create the best event timeline and planning process.
- What areas of your trade do you specialize in?
I specialize in birthday parties, weddings, family gatherings and fundraisers.
- How did you get started?
I started when I was 14 years old, helping my mother plan parties. As I got older, I started planning parties for friends and family.
In 2012, after graduating college, I decided to start my own event planning business.
- What services do you provide your customers after the work has finished?
After the work has finished, I help clean up, send out any thank-you notes and make sure everyone is satisfied.
I also keep in contact if my clients need any help for future events that they may want an event planner for, or if they would like to plan an event on their own.
- Tell us something customers may not know about you.
Although I work as an event planner and own my own business, I am also a mom of 2 wonderful kids and work nights at Burger King.
- What questions should a customer ask before hiring a professional in your trade?
What is your hourly rate?
How far do you travel?
Do you charge for travel/gas?
What type of services do you offer?
- What types of jobs are the most common?
Birthday parties and family outings are the most common area of planning. This is because many want to be able to sit back and enjoy their day and not deal with all the hassle of making sure it runs smooth.
- What are the most frequent questions you get from customers? What are the answers?
- Why hire an event planner when I can do it myself?
An event planner is someone who prides himself/herself in helping people create a memorable day. An event planner works with you to create an event that not only addresses your goals and exceeds expectations, but also fits your budget.
- How far out should I start planning my event?
Best advice is to start as early as possible, like 6-12 months for best results.
- Do I have to find my own decorations, locations, etc
No. As an event planner, I shop around for everything, bring the ones I think are best to your attention, and either just me or all of us meet with them.
- What services do you offer and what is your price?
I offer consultations for free! Preparation and planning rates range at $35 to $45 per hour. My rate for day of event coordination is $35 per hour.
- What do you wish customers knew about your profession or trade?
When many think, "event planner," they think, "money." They think that it will cost more when they can just do it themselves.
An event planner is like a reference book. While you're asking everyone and anyone or reading articles online or whatever, you could save time, stress, money and confusion by just using an event planner.
- What would you recommend customers looking to save money?
Although I charge a service fee, I shop for the best prices. I consider myself a budget event planner and never go with my first price.
