About Sonsalla Photography

I am a 10-year photography business owner who specializes in weddings, graduations and family portraits!

I have recently undergone a change in interest with commercial art projects based around small businesses!

A.

• I have a background in retail and food service, so I believe in the constant truth that "the customer is the most important part of your business, without them what business do you have?"

  I have an excellent customer service mindset; I am the kind of photographer that will never say "I can't do that!"

• What information do you recommend to have readily available before looking for a professional in your trade?
A.

• Many people believe they cannot take a decent picture, I believe everyone is beautiful, just by being themselves. I find very unique settings, I am calm when others are nervous and I take the time needed to accomplish the best portraits possible!

• What do you wish customers knew about your profession or trade?
A.

• Photography is a great gift to anyone you care about, a picture of a grandchild at Christmas is far more rewarding than another tie for Dad!

A.

• How many years of experience do you have in your business?

  On a scale of 1-10 how do you feel your previous clients rate their overall experience with your company?

  On a scale of 1-10 how do you feel your previous clients would rate their overall approval of your finished portraits!

• What brands or products do you work with?
A.

• Cannon, Nikon, Adobe Photoshop CS4, even Microsoft has a huge factor in my work!

• What would you recommend customers looking to save money?
A.

• I really feel that less is more, Honestly rather than get sold on 25 portraits when you really maybe only needed 2 great ones a year to commemorate your family growth and having a return customer to our company is far more important than a 150 package that will end up at the bottom of a drawer!

• How many projects do you average in a year?
A.

• Since relocating to the DFW, the past 5 years has been pretty upsetting to me, I have only averaged about 8 projects a year, I am more than capable of doing 15+ a month and maybe more!

• What areas of your trade do you specialize in?
A.

• Weddings, portraits and commercial photography along with art by Jennifer Lazell that is currently and continuously updated and on sale!

• What services do you provide your customers after the work has finished?
A.

• We archive all finished portrait packages, to ensure if yours are lost, stolen or damaged, that you have the option of re-purchasing, at a discounted rate, a complete copy with unlimited usage.

• How did you get started?
A.

• I got started by accident over 10 years ago, I had taken art classes but never done much with photography, then a friend of mine needed graduation pictures taken at an affordable price, I said, I can do that!

• What types of jobs are the most common?
A.

• Weddings and graduations and family portraits are the most common projects I take on; However, I stand firm that there just isn't anything I can't take a picture of and make a wonderful piece of lasting art.

• What are the most frequent questions you get from customers? What are the answers?
A.

• The most frequent questions I get asked are always about cost. I have extremely competitive prices, and I am willing to work with most all situations, and I do installment plans for most weddings.

• Tell us about the project or job that you are most proud of (in the last 12 months).
A.

• I am extremely proud of the work that has come from the Brendan's Wish to Cure History event that took place in April of this year; I believe some of the best photography of my life so far was captured that one day!
