Tutoring By Daniel offers private tutoring services to children and adults to help improve writing in English. Other assistance is provided with editing and grammar. Strategies to become a better writer are also included.

I'm very patient and enjoy seeing individuals or small groups become better at writing and speaking the English language. I can come to your business, school, library and coffee house to provide help. I also offer classes via Skype.

I have a BA in Journalism from California State University-Chico and have worked as a newspaper reporter. For a couple of years, I have taught school as a substitute teacher. I understand the challenges of writing the English language in a clear, concise manner that can be easily understood.

  • I specialize in writing. I edit written content and teach strategies on how to become a better writer. I help improve your ability to write an essay or research paper.

  • How did you get started?

  • I began through praying and asking God what am I good at? I learned several years ago that I'm good at teaching. It came as a revelation to me. I took gifts and personality test and that help me understand my talents and gifts.

  • What would you recommend customers looking to save money?

  • Don't use credit cards. Only spend what you have. Save money for that idea or products that you want. You may need to get a loan from people that believe in you.

  • Do I have issues writing an essay?

    Do my sentences make sense but need improvement?

    Do you have writer's block and can't seem to get your thoughts on paper?

    If I have a paper written, how can I get it edited so that the writing is clear and concise?

  • I offer follow up services that include seeing if the writing has improved. I want to track performance to understand if the lessons worked. I want to see results and if improvement is needed, there are additional classes offered.
