About Victoria's Pet Service

Victoria's Pet Service offers to assist you in pet sitting, dog walking, and pet care.

If you’re looking for a responsible and trustworthy pet sitter to take care of your animals while you are away, then you should call me.

My name is Victoria, and I am studying to be a veterinarian. I am finishing up my second year of college next semester and animals are my specialty!

I work at a local pet store as a kennel manager and can provide excellent references from both my employer and previous clients.

I serve Coral Springs, Margate, Deerfield, and surrounding Florida areas.

I am not your typical pet sitter who sits around watching TV while your animal sits alone entertaining itself in a corner. While they are spending time with me in my home, I can further their training (if given your permission), take them to the local dog parks and/or beaches, take them on long walks, as well as play with them as if they were my own.

Your pet will enjoy their vacation while you enjoy yours. I have a fully grassed and fenced backyard that is maintained regularly for your pet to run around in while it stays in my home.

I am highly experienced, and I provide the best prices in the area. I am so confident that you will not find a better price around, and that I will beat any advertised price for the same service!

My general rates are:

Pet sitting in my home (price per day)

Questions and answers

  • How did you get started?
  • I started my business because I had a bad experience. I rescued an abused labrador retriever about a year and a half ago and one day, I decided to go on a five day vacation. I left her with a local pet sitter who promised to take care of her. I explained to him that she was abused and that she didn't like men and he seemed to understand my situation. I checked in each day and I was told everything was fine. When I returned five days later, my dog was terrified. She was shaking and would not come to me. She was scared of the pet sitter and was definitely shaken up. When I asked the pet sitter about it, he told me that he and his father held her down in order to pet her and when she saw all of their raised hands, she flinched. You (especially men) cannot hold a dog down that was abused by men. You need to give them their space and let them come to you. After that I decided that I wanted to provide a safe and friendly place for dogs with fears as well as dogs without. I opened Victoria's Pet Service to provide the best service possible.

  • What certifications or professional affiliations do you have?
  • I am currently finishing up on my second year of college. I am majoring in Biology as I am studying to be a veterinarian, which is my absolute dream!

  • What services do you provide your customers after the work has finished?
  • Since I am interested in photography, I like to provide my clients with a professional picture of each of their dogs while they stayed with me.

  • What are the most frequent questions you get from customers? What are the answers?
  • Do they check each dogs health record?

    Yes

Do they require each dog to be on flea/tick & heart worm preventatives?

    Yes

Do you have a fenced in back yard?

    Yes

Are the dogs brought in the house at night?

It depends on the owners request. If they want their dogs to stay outside, then that is what I will do. If they want their dogs to be brought inside, then I am happy to do that as well.

    Where do the dogs sleep?

They sleep in my bed, living room, in their crates, or in the yard.

  • What areas of your trade do you specialize in?
  • I specialize in the care of dogs, cats, reptiles, and small animals (including hamsters, guinea pigs, rats, birds, and ferrets)

  • What questions should a customer ask before hiring a professional in your trade?
  • Do they check each dogs health record?

Do they require each dog to be on flea/tick & heart worm preventatives?

Do you have a fenced in back yard?

Are the dogs brought in the house at night?

    Where do the dogs sleep?

  • What do you wish customers knew about your profession or trade?
  • I think that it's obvious that in order to have a business like this, you must love animals. It is extremely important that the place where you are bringing your pets is clean. If the house smells of urine, RUN! There is no excuse for it. A pet sitter must be on top of cleaning every minute of every day.

  • What would you recommend customers looking to save money?
  • If you are looking to save money, I am your girl. My prices are extremely fair and I will work with any budget. I will never turn you down because you simply can't afford it.

  • How many projects do you average in a year?
  • On average, I take in about 85 dogs per year. (Give or take a few) I take in dogs for long and short term so it really depends on the clients' needs. I will pet sit for a maximum of 6 dogs at a time.

Victoria is very pet owner's dream. If you ever worried about leaving your pet with anyone, you want Victoria. She loves pets, all pets and she treats them like they were her own. She's studying to be a Vet, so you know she has to have that kind of love and dedication.

Victoria is exactly as she advertises: trustworthy and responsible. I sent her a text message with only an hour notice and she stepped up to the plate. She invited me into her house, showed me the yard and insured me that my babies would be taken care of. She sent me pictures every couple of days and even sent me a video of them playing! I will never use any other pet sitter again, Victoria is our girl! My dogs are actually excited to be left with her!

Fantastic service for a great price. I left my bichon frise Lilly with Victoria post-op. She had broken her leg and was in a cast. Victoria took care of her like she was her own. When we first met, I could see that Victoria really loved animals. She bent down fully so Lilly didn't jump up and hurt herself and gave her a treat. She is sincere and definitely earned my and Lilly's trust! Next time I go out of town, there is no doubt in my mind that I will be calling Victoria.
