In my profession there are many things customers should know. The most important thing, I like to educate how important it is to have good anti-virus software.
Remember, good anti-virus software is important, but even more important is practicing safe browsing habits. The best way to avoid viruses is to make sure you don't download them in the first place. Don't click on anything that claims it's anti-virus software unless you know where it came from, don't click on any suspicious Facebook posts, and make sure that you don't click on any fake email links.

- How did you get started?
I started out when I was 11 years old helping friends with repairing their tvs and radios. At 18 years old I started working for an Audio and Video repair company.
I owned my first repair shop at the age of 20.
I currently manage a new repair shop that just opened a year ago in Lowell, MA called "VIDEO AUDIO CENTER".

Keep an anti-virus program (any anti-virus program) running on your computer all the time and keep it UPDATED (not the same as scanning weekly).
Use the Windows firewall and/or a router if you use a broadband connection.
