About Robinson Construction
Robinson Construction has been around for 4 years. I have two carpenters plus myself working full time, along with a part-time plumber and a part-time electrician.
We also have up to 10 miscellaneous laborers at any one time. We are fully insured and licensed with the state.
I have personally been in the construction field for 16 years, and the same goes for my other carpenters.
We specialize in bathrooms, kitchens, and basements, but we are also set up to do all exterior work.
Questions and answers
- How did you get started?
I started in high school in V.O. Tech. Went away to college and got a job roofing. I stayed with that for 5 years, learning all that I could about exterior renovation.
Then moved on to an apprenticeship as a carpenter. Spent 5 years learning all that I could about carpentry.
I was laid off in my fifth year and started with a general contractor. That's where I learned plumbing, masonry, hardscaping, tile, hot water heaters, and so much more.
I have a degree in psychology, but after college, I had found that I really didn't like being in an office all day.
I found that the look on someone's face after I have completely turned their home around was much more fulfilling.
