About Your Bountiful Backyard
Your Bountiful Backyard is a partnership between two seasoned gardeners who are passionate about creating local, healthy, organic food systems. We are a new start-up business in Takoma Park, though not new to gardening. We provide services to clients in the MD/DC metro area.
Services:
- Design/build gardens, including raised beds, trellises, containers (such as salad tables) and other common garden structures
- Seed selection and purchase
- Seed starting indoors
- Plant selection and purchase
- Plant garden
- Basic garden maintenance including pruning, weeding, basic mulching, sheet mulching
- Plant diagnostics, including insect and disease ID and treatment
- Design/build winter gardening structures, including cold frames and low tunnels
All of the above are done in consultation with the homeowner/gardener; skills and methods can also be taught to homeowner/gardener as part of the process, if desired.
