What is important to know about your profession?
Home Staging is not a regulated industry. There is no formal accreditation for Home stagers. Some Stagers use letters behind their name that are designations from any variety of training programs that are paid for. Customers should check references/reviews and ask to see examples of a Stager's work and not stock photography.The least expensive Stager should not be your main consideration in choosing. It is best to look for quality to ensure your real estate dollars are not left on the table when you go to sell. Selling your home, one of your most important financial investments, should be trusted to professionals knowledgeable about the market in your area.
What kind of questions do customers ask you?
How will it cost to stage my home? Each home is unique and price is determined by the amount of furnishings required and time involved. A walk thru must be done to determine price.Do you have your own furniture and what type do you stage with? We work with a blend of our own inventory and several large furniture rental sources so that we may tailor the staging to the individual market and style of the home.Do you stage lived in homes? Yes we work with what is in the home currently and edit, de-clutter and blend in our furniture and accessories where needed. We stage keeping in mind people must carry on day to day lives during the listing period.
