Questions and Answers

  • What we may not know about you?
My price tag is not cheap. Most potential clients have price-shopped at least a little.Everyone has a different value proposition. For me it’s my promise of exceptional customer service and the level of client care during a project. I offer this on top of the tangible work they’re paying me for.I want my clients to know every dollar spent with me is well worth it.
  • How did you get started?
Ever since I was young, I have always had a keen interest in Interior Design. My passion for it and space planning began at a very young ageI successfully graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering with a major in Information Technology in June 2006! I had invested a significant amount of energy to join the School of Architecture, but unfortunately due to administrative reasons/law, I was only provided with the opportunity to take up Computer Engineering. I am very proud of this degree even though it was not in my field of passion, because it shows I am able to finish tough challenges even when faced with life detours.Following this, I sought out opportunities upon graduation to work in the lighting industry in order to custom-build my future plans and guide them back towards my passion. During this time I sourced suitable suppliers and assisted customers in making the right selection for the right purpose. I really enjoyed improving the lives of people while achieving a high caliber of customer satisfaction for the entire team. This hands-on experience furthered me towards Interior Design and Architecture as my professional goal.To strengthen my credentials in Interior Design, I obtained post-graduate qualifications in the form of Interior Design Certificate program at UCLA extension. This allowed me the learning experience of overseeing all aspects of design projects. In June 2014, I completed my certificate with a further addition to a portfolio of strong academic achievements.
  • What is important to know about your profession?
When most people think about hiring an interior designer, they zero in on aesthetics: wall colors, window treatments, pillow patterns. But that's just scratching the surface of what a designer can add to a home. We go beyond cosmetic concerns to ensure that a space feels harmonious through and through, from its floor plan and architectural envelope to the last nail head, tassel and tuft.
  • What kind of questions do customers ask you?
How can you guarantee a potential client will love the finished product?Because I'm taking time to listen, plan, document, communicate, and create. If my work is in tune with my client’s wishes throughout the project, they’ll be excited and thrilled till the end of the process.
