What are you most proud of?
There are many projects that I'm proud of but I'm always most proud of the jobs that created trust in my clients. I painted a home of a new resident in the San Diego area and she was apprehensive, inquisitive, and even changed the color of her cabinets almost half way through the completion date. I was contacted to speak with her directly regarding her changes, communicated how we could accommodate and worked to get her cabinets the color that worked best for her. At the end of the project she thanked us profusely for our patience and cooperation. We had made her move to Sunny California so much easier.
Do you offer any service after finishing the work?
Customers are always encouraged to contact me if there are any issues or questions after work is done. We do a walk-through at the request of the customer or for more complex projects. If there is any spot that was missed, unclean or done poorly we are more than happy to come back and make sure our work has been done right!

What questions should a customer ask before hiring you?
If you are shopping for someone to paint your house ask your neighbors for a few referrals! If your project is very big make sure that the contractor you choose is licensed, which also means they have insurance and are bonded, just in case anything happens on site. Also ask if they have a schedule that works for you and if they can give you an estimate. Estimates should be done on site so that you can meet your contractor and more importantly so your estimate is accurate! EXPERIENCE is key! Nowadays, industry owners will find the cheapest labor which means poor workmanship and little experience. Ask about the professional's experience and about the team that will be working with them. What is their experience level? Will they be supervised?Lastly, the professionals at Bulman Painting are more than happy to answer your questions. Not every one is a paint expert so just let us know if we can explain the reasons behind our methods. We strive to provide quality work and want you, the customer to feel assured!

The goal is to book a month out. The average projects in a year varies but we as a business aim for a goal and we reach that goal as often as possible!
What kind of questions do customers ask you?
One of the most frequent questions I receive from customers is why can't I just paint over (fill in the blank with item) ??Painting can seem easy as pie. The act of dipping a brush into a can and swiping a surface here and there is on paper simple. However, I know the need for good prep work. The professionals have the tools, time, and know-how to prep the surfaces so that paint adheres properly and lasts. There is "almost" a paint for every surface, yet even though a brand claims it can cover a surface, I have seen otherwise with or without prepping it. We know how to achieve the look that will match your ideas through prep and understanding of paint. We are Painters who know paint!
What is important to know about your profession?
I hope that our customers are aware that no job is too big or too small. However, when a job is very small the charge for labor is much different. Most times companies will charge a higher rate per hour for labor. It's the difference between buying something in bulk and buying something individually. It is cost effective for a team to work on a whole house, while it is not the same when someone just needs one room painted. This is the reason why some contractors won't take small jobs. When in doubt give us a call we would like to be the preferred painter on the job and can work to get within your budget.
