- What do you recommend to know before hiring you?
When you first look for a contractor it helps to know what your goals are for the job. Do you want someone to design for you or someone to help you make your vision a reality. Also, it's good to know your budget. We can help you accomplish your goals when we know your budget. California Backyard Solutions is willing to work with any budget and we will work with you get the most from your budget.
- What kind of questions do customers ask you?
Do I need a permit? The answer is, it depends on the project. Definitely yes if you plan to do electrical, or plumbing. But, we can help with electrical, plumbing and permits too.
- What we may not know about you?
California Backyard Solutions is a Sacramento based company that is locally owned and operated. We are a small family business that cares about our community and providing a quality service.
- What is important to know about your profession?
Every job is different. We would love to be able to quote prices over the phone. However, since each piece of property comes with it's own unique set of circumstances we do all our bidding in person. Free in home estimates are available within a 5 mile radius of our Sacramento location. We also offer estimates out of our typical service area for a small fee. Typically $35.00. That fee is credited to your contract. California Backyard Solutions also offers design services for those customers that don't already know what they want. For project needing engineer services for the permit, we can help with that too!
- How did you get started?
My father taught me my trade at a young age. He built many of our homes growing up.
- What are you most proud of?
Recently we built a beautiful engineered block wall almost 9 ' tall with CMU in a lovely east Sacramento home.
- How can we save money hiring you?
California Backyard Solutions offers Sacramento home owners a unique service no one else offers. For the budget minded or just those loving to be hands on. We have DIY consultation services for the do it your self home owner. Home owners love to do things themselves. But sometimes find that they not sure about some of the technical aspects or how to get that professional look. We can help you by making sure you considered and are prepared to complete each step. We even supervisor crucial aspects of the job. As you complete a crucial step we will inspect to make sure your ready before you move on the next phase. Customers can save thousands in labor by doing their project themselves and hiring are consultation services.
- Do you offer any service after finishing the work?
We offer a 6 month warranty on hard scape. We also offer hard scape maintenance services like maintaining your masonry and tile with sealing and painting, like painting and sealing masonry.
- How many projects do you average in a year?
We do several ground breaking projects a year. Since we do all the trades, may homeowners and businesses hire us to do all there outdoor services from start to finish. From tear out, demolition, electrical, plumbing to the final stone facade.
- What questions should a customer ask before hiring you?
Customers should always ask contractors if they are licensed.
- What types of jobs are the most common?
Here at California Backyard Solutions we find every homeowner is different. We see everything from drainage needs to folks wanting to build their own personal sanctuary in their backyard.
