Questions and Answers

  • How many projects do you average in a year?
We can average anywhere between 100-150 projects in a year. We average 200-300 jobs during a year with high demand driven by storms.
  • How can we save money hiring you?
Ask roofing contractors about maintenance plans or regular maintenance. Maintaining a roof will help with costly repairs and premature failures. Proper ventilation and the right amount of insulation can help save money on your energy costs.
  • What questions should a customer ask before hiring you?
Customers should ask contractors for a written estimate, proof of insurance, references, and how the installation will be done.
  • What do you recommend to know before hiring you?
We would recommend having some basic information about the project; the type of structure to be worked on, the project time frame, type of materials that you are interested in, and any prior issues if any.
  • What types of jobs are the most common?
Asphalt shingle repairs and replacement. Asphalt roofing is the most common roofing material used in most residential construction.Metal roofing restoration and replacement. Metal roofing is the most common roofing material next to asphalt shingles for steep-slope roofing.TPO membrane installations. TPO has become the most popular and logical material for low-slope roofing in this region.
  • What are you most proud of?
Projects we are the most proud of are the ones were we are able to repair a bad roof within the customers budget without having to do a full roof replacement.
  • What is important to know about your profession?
Roofing is an extremely labor intensive trade. Much of the costs associated with projects are based on skill and the level of difficulty.
  • What kind of questions do customers ask you?
  • How long does a roof replacement take?
  • A typical roofing job takes 1-2 days to complete.
  • Is there anything I should do to prepare for the job?
  • At your discretion remove any valuables off of your walls or your yard. We are mindful of your personal property. Roofing is labor intensive and any precautions are always welcomed.
  • Do I need to be home during installation?
  • Only if you decide to. You can leave knowing that we will respect your personal property and install your materials based on manufacturer's specification.
  • Do you offer any service after finishing the work?
We provide full clean up on all of our projects. We use tarps and magnetic sweeps to ensure your property looks like we were never there. We offer ongoing maintenance programs to help protect and lengthen the return of your investment.
  • How did you get started?
We got started after prior experience in solar installs and steel building sales. We started in 2007 working a devastating hail storm in Chicago.
  • What we may not know about you?
We have passed all courses and requirements required by most major insurance carries for independent or staff adjusting license. This means we understand and have been trained in the processes and requirements used by your insurance company.
