We specialize in residential new home construction and remodeling. We offer in house design services but also maintain relationships with several architects to whom we refer business based on the scope and complexity of the project. We help our clients through all phases of the work from design, regulatory committees, permitting and construction.

We work with window suppliers such as Andersen, Marvin and Pella and we prefer CertainTeed Landmark shingles for the roof.

We also work with American Standard, Grohe, Kohler as our suppliers of plumbing fixtures, but are happy to work with brands suggested by our clients as long as those brands are reliable and carry strong warranties.

We offer a one-year guarantee on all of our work from the date of completion. We continue to have relationships with many of our previous clients who often hire us two or three more times.

Are you licensed and are you insured? How long have you been in business? May I speak with your previous clients? Have you done work of a similar nature?

Remodeling of kitchens and baths, replacement of windows, siding and roofs are all commons small scale projects.

Other common projects of larger scale include dormers, second story additions and lateral additions.

The most frequent question I am asked is "What is the 'ballpark' figure for this project?". The answer is I don't give "ballpark" pricing, I prefer to give detailed, accurate estimates based on a good set of well-defined plans. I want the client to know what exactly they are getting and at what cost.

We average 4 large-scale projects in a year with many ongoing smaller projects. Smaller projects include the construction of decks, replacement of windows, roofing and siding.

I received a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester, MA.

Don't let a few bad apples spoil the rest of us who are trustworthy, genuine and interested in providing a high level of service and quality.

You should have a clear idea of your budget and share this figure openly with your contractor. This is the only way to ensure that the project being designed falls within the financial parameters you have set.

I began by working on a framing crew. They are the ones who build the wood "skeleton" of the home. From there I studied to get my Unrestricted Construction Supervisors license and eventually went into business for myself. I have worked with architects, building officials, regulatory committees and other tradesmen for the past 10 years.

The best way to save money is to spend it wisely: buy products with good reputations and warranties. And don't confuse inexpensive with cheap. Inexpensive items might be OK, but cheap items mean you will only be replacing the items again later at twice the cost.

We recently completed the third phase of a three phase project on a lake in Centerville, MA. This entailed a new dormer expansion on the second story to enlarge an existing bedroom, a lateral addition for a new office and a reconfiguration of interior space to include a new relocated kitchen, new master bathroom and new laundry room. We also built a new screened porch with exterior deck, new chimney and fireplace
