I Inspect buildings of all ages from the early 1900's to brand new ones and everything in between. As buildings need to be inspected for the time period they were build and codes of that time, making every building you inspect different from the last many times. Knowing historical building codes and practices is very important in doing a quality home inspection. To date I have inspected properties totaling over 4,000 for fee or hire.

Questions and Answers

  • What questions should a customer ask before hiring you?
What type of actual building & construction experience do they have and how many years? What type of formal inspection training do they have and was it a certified program? How many properties have they inspected for a fee or hire have they actual done? Have you every been a member of a Certified Inspector association?
  • How did you get started?
As a journeyman Carpenter in the construction industry for 19 plus years, then 15 plus years as a Certified Inspector to date.
  • What we may not know about you?
I have spend my whole life building, working on or inspecting buildings/structures. There is nothing in the world I like more than inspecting, teaching and informing people on the condition of the property they are thinking on purchasing. I've performed thousands of inspections and I'm here to serve your interests.
  • What kind of questions do customers ask you?
Should I buy the house? I can't tell you weather to buy or not to buy, what I can do is inform you on the condition of the building/structure so you can take all the information available and make an inform decision on your purchase or, Did it Pass or Fail? No building/structure will ever pass or fail; it's not that type of inspection. Rather it is designed to educate the purchaser about the condition of the property, again to make an inform decision.
  • What types of jobs are the most common?
There is no such thing as the most common job. Every job is different from the other as each building/structure will be different. Some will have more conditions than others; or have health or safety concerns which are different from one property to the next. Each property has to be inspected for it's self and it's current physical condition.
  • What are you most proud of?
I'm proud of every project I do. I do my best on every inspection I do. Every client and property is just as important as any I do. Every client always gets my best work and knowledge and every client is just as important.
  • Do you offer any service after finishing the work?
I go over my findings with the client after each inspection. And the client will receive an easy to read, complete detailed comprehensive narrative style report, that includes digital photography of conditions observed during the inspection. And if you have any questions after the inspection feel free to call, I'll be happy to answer anything I can. Once your a customer your always a customer.
  • What is important to know about your profession?
Hire a quality inspector so you wilt not be surprised later with expensive repairs, due to things a cheaper or inexperienced inspector missed. Some times trying to save money will actually cost you in the end
  • What do you recommend to know before hiring you?
The age of the property and the square footage of building, if it has a pool or spa or both, is there out buildings. As most prices are based on the age, square footage, structures and equipment of the property to be inspected. When do you want the inspection done? Are ALL the Utilities on, such as water, gas and electricity turned on prior to inspection date.
  • How can we save money hiring you?
Hire a quality inspector so you will not be surprised later with expensive repairs, due to things a cheaper or inexperienced inspector missed. Some times trying to save money will actually cost you in the end
