Decco Design will make sure after the work is complete that everything is in working order and that there are no defects in the construction project.
- How can we save money hiring you?
We would recommend to customers that want to save money to look at other options. There are several options for siding for example and each has different costs. Compare and contrast your options.
- What types of jobs are the most common?
We find that the most common jobs that we have done are siding projects that include replacing the whole house or just a part of the house. Windows are also common replacements.
- What we may not know about you?
We are a company comprising of individuals who have over fifteen years of combined experience in the construction industry.
- What questions should a customer ask before hiring you?
Questions that a customer should ask would be what kind of references does the professional have? Are they licensed, bonded and insured?
- What is important to know about your profession?
I think that many customers don't realize the costs of doing business. The costs of materials have gone up as have many other costs.
- How many projects do you average in a year?
The number of projects we do depends on the size of the project. If they are bigger projects we do about twelve or more per year and if they are smaller we can do more.
- What are you most proud of?
We did a project out past Hillsboro, OR. It seemed like a simple siding replacement but when we started taking off the old siding, underneath we found rot. And it seemed the more we took off the more rot there was.After all the siding was off we found most of the wall had been rotted. We spent about a week and a half repairing the wall with new framing and installed new windows. After waterproofing the plywood sheeting with Hydro Gap vapor barrier and all the windows we started with the siding.After everything was finished the owners were happy that everything was done properly and they would not have to worry about leaking windows or other problems with their siding.
- How did you get started?
We started off in the construction industry and have over 15 years combined experience in all phases of construction.We decided that we could provide excellent customer service and expertise to the individual and opened our own business.
- What kind of questions do customers ask you?
A lot of the work we have done are repairs to water intrusion such as leaking windows. And customers often ask what we will do to prevent future leaks and how will everything be sealed. We explain the process that goes into properly waterproofing windows and other seals. what the purpose of flashing is and how it will help.
