Questions and Answers
What questions should a customer ask before hiring you?
Always ask your face painting professional if they are insured, and if they use professional, theatrical makeup.
What do you recommend to know before hiring you?
You should know the date of your event, the location of your event, the time of your event, and know roughly how many faces you would like to have painted at your event. we also cater to any theme so the earlier you can get us the theme information, the better.
What kind of questions do customers ask you?
How many children can you paint in an hour (12-14) what kind of face paint do you use (it's water based theatrical makeup) Can you paint princesses, superheroes, animals, grownups?
How many projects do you average in a year?
We do about 20 events a week. So please book early! Though we do love the challenge of a last minute party as well.
How can we save money hiring you?
Well, good supplies should be high quality and expensive...we are putting products on your children's skin- so the higher quality, the better. Also, the pictures last forever! So, a high quality, fully insured face painting professional is the best option.
Do you offer any service after finishing the work?
Watch as your child roars like a tiger for the rest of the day! Face painting creates a world of imagination for your child. Once they are painted, they truly believe they are that character. It is such a delight for us to be part of the magic of this experience for children! It is the best part of our job :D
I started my company after my daughter asked for a face painter for her 5th birthday party. I thought, "I can do that!" and started practicing...I realized quickly that I loved painting and watching the kids experience it as much as they did!
What are you most proud of?
We are grateful we get to do a lot of wonderful, fun, and high profile events- face painting NY Rangers fans in the Hockey House in Madison Square Garden during the end of the season and the Stanley Cup Finals last year. Go, Rangers!!! We also do private make up appointments for galas and balls...a photo of our artwork got into the NY Times slideshow of pics from the Met Ball, and last year one of our clients was interviewed by Vogue at a party. Swoon!
What we may not know about you?
I used to be a professional singer. I went to school for music and studied voice for 20 years, toured professionally all over Europe and never dreamed I would have a career in makeup!
What is important to know about your profession?
It's not easy, we just make it look easy! It takes a ton of practice, training and patience! We love children and children love to be painted!
