Electrical, Carpentry, Plumbing, drywall and painting. Lighting, decks and fences. As I do it all I really have no one Speciality, but I worked as an electrician and could say that is my favorite task.

Because I do such a variety of jobs we use a lot of brands and products. Valspar paint is one of the products we use a lot. Most of the time I will use a quality product that is cost effective for my client and of the utmost quality.

I guarantee my work to be free from defect for 1 year of normal wear. So if I do a job for you and something becomes loose or leaks a month or two down the road give me a call I'll make it right.

Is the handyman or contractor a registered business?

Does the handyman or contractor have good reviews online with a reputable site like yelp, google, or Angie's list?

If the contractor does not give you a detailed estimate or asks for the entire sum of the job upfront that is a huge red flag

I just completed some remodeling at the Howard Johnson Hotel in San Marcos and the owner is so happy. I am sure we will be doing some more work for him in the future.

Hire a professional if you are unsure of how to complete the project. All to often people will attempt to make a repair of a do a remodel on their own. It often ends in someone calling us up to repair the mistakes or finish the job.

I worked with my father since I was a kid. Then working as a maintenance manager for several apartment complexes and trailer parks I learned all the skills I needed to offer a client a wide range of services.

I am averaging 350 projects a year. And I am hoping to double that number this year. We have a great crew and they are all family. As a family run business we want to grow.

I asked Joel to build a 12 foot long privacy fence to match a longer one on the other side of my house. I think the one he built is even more solid than the original! He used quality materials, made sure it was dog-proofed as I requested, and did it all in a day, with a 2-man crew. Both Joel and his partner were good communicators who made sure I knew what they were doing and that I was satisfied with the final product, and for a fair price. I will definitely call Joel and his "Handyman Services" again.

Joel was on time for estimate and completed my fence quickly. I have never been more happy with a contractor. And, his rates were fair and affordable.
