How many projects do you average in a year?
I would say a least 75
I've always excelled in the arts and ever since I first picked up a digital camera some 25 plus years ago I was hooked. It all started as a hobby and passion and simple grew from there. After doing it for 13 years part time on the side, I finally decided to leave the corporate world 7 years ago and pursue it full time.

What do you recommend to know before hiring you?
Definitely the date and location of the wedding or event. Most half way decent pros have their calendars partially booked. If you are calling for a date that is already booked then you have wasted your time. It's also best to have an idea of your budget for the photography, this way we can give you a better idea of what we can provide in your price range vs going over every option.

What is important to know about your profession?
That just because someone has good cameras and gear does not automatically make them a good photographer. There are so many more things that come into play especially with a wedding day.First, the camera has to be told what to do in changing conditions and on the fly. We also have to have the confidence and experience to direct many people and coordinate time to make the photography seamless yet get THE shots needed. We have to be always be alert and make sure we are in the right place at the right time which means we need to be highly mobile and have endurance to run around and do this for 8, 9, or 10 hours without a break. All this with a smile. Then we have to endure long hours editing the thousands of shots we capture in a days work. Sometimes boring and tedious but still needs to be done and done right.Again, a wedding photographer is a different breed and should never be confused with a portrait, studio, or part timer.

What we may not know about you?
Born in Savannah, Ga. and raised in Jacksonville, FL.

What are you most proud of?
I wish I could pic just one. But it seems I find something to be proud of on every shoot I do. When it's your passion and you enjoy working then I guess just doing what I love full time is what I'm proud of most.
-
How can we save money hiring you?
Unless you want a second shooter there is no need to pay more than $1,000.00 for a full day of coverage. My average 8 hour day is $995.00 which include all you need. I do have a few second shooters I work with that can be hired if that what you budget allows.
