You will be provided with files you can use at the very least. Some companies move on to application projects such as a brand book (or corporate identity manual), an identity summary, stationery, brochures, websites, etc. We can do those applications, but so can others. We do recommend at least an identity summary which lends guidance to anyone else down the road who might do application work.

Supply as much direction and information as possible up front. However, this does not mean micro-management, that can cost you. Understand the terms of the agreement posted on our website, and fill out some simple forms to keep us efficient. Don't expect to make changes beyond the terms.

It varies quite a bit. Latley we've had to turn down work. At this rate, about 24 projects or so, in addition to full time work, with every expectation of it increasing.

  • A. Can you show me some samples of your best work?
  • How long have you been in business?
  • What is your philosophy about logo design?
  • Have you ever won any awards?

Do you presently or have you in the past belonged to any design or creative professional associations?

Are you using a clip art library only, to create my logo?

What happens once the design is approved?

I am a second generation designer.

The Muse Art Bar logo; all native Texas art, food, and spirits.

Cost and time questions. The answers are on our website for standard jobs and we can quote anything beyond that.

That most of us are honest, hard working professionals who really put thought and intellectual fire-power into our work. We are rarely the stereotypical temperamental artiste, throwing fits and walking out. We put a lot of ourselves into our work, and so we put a high value to it, regardless of what we might charge.

The most important thing for us to know is your positioning, or Unique Selling Proposition. What differentiate you from the crowd? Tell us all about your business.

Tell us as much about what you don't like as what you do like. Show us what your competition is doing. Give input, up front, about color and type, what to avoid and what to pursue.

I grew up in the advertising industry and my relatives on both sides are in the arts. It's in my blood I suppose you could say. It's amazing to get paid for what you love to do. Over the years, I've come to enjoy branding the most. It's a thrill to deliver a brand to a client who appreciates the effort and nuances involved.
