How many projects do you average in a year?
I have not had the time to count but a few hundred a year. From small to big. I love commercial so one costumer gives us at least 80 projets a year.
What do you recommend to know before hiring you?
Their options and a idea of what they need done. It is always good to do a little homework. Also remember it's your project and it is something you will live with.
What are you most proud of?
I do work for a country club, but a while back we had to retrofit a total of 62 hid metal halide tenniscourt lights. They were change from 1000watts to 1500watts
What is important to know about your profession?
The basic. It is the only way pleople will not lie to them when it comes to getting an estimate or asking about a project they have in mind.
What questions should a customer ask before hiring you?
How much experience do thay have and try to ask a few electrical questions. Also, try talking to references. It is important for you to get personally involved with the job
Started as an electrician at the age of 23. My options were different because I had to go to school in order to come into the trade. Studied for 3 years and worked for a few companies. Only then was I able to start on my own.
What we may not know about you?
I am a person that as they are doing , is looking where to save money so I always put my self in their shoes to give them a better price.
How can we save money hiring you?
Shop around. It is good to always compare what the next company has to offer. That is the only way to see if someelse can do it for less.
Do you offer any service after finishing the work?
Warranty is important. You never forget the customer and try to build a relation with them, only then will you be able to make sure his/her electrical needs are met.
What types of jobs are the most common?
No power, new lights, new receptacles and at times, people want to remodel their kitchen or add some kind of equipment to their home.
