I average about 20-30 projects a year, all ranging from small changes to full-blown development from the ground up.

Ask the designer if they would be willing to tweak a preselected them. Working from a theme with minimal changes helps expedite the project and cut down on development time.

You should ask to see their previous work and have them explain to you what they did and why they did it. You want someone who does things with a purpose. A good web designer should be able to tell now only the what but why they designed things the way they did.

You get what you pay for. So many people cringe when you tell them how much something is going to cost. Sure you could have someone do it for cheaper, but they don't always give you the best product and haven't had as much experience. In the long run you might have to pay to have something edited and updated several times a year and it might not work exactly how you wanted it to. Instead, it is completely worth it to pay that extra bit of money up front to have something that completely satisfies your business goals and objectives.

Twin Falls County Fair & Magic Valley Stampede. I recently completed this website for one of Southern Idaho's premiere events. It features a fully responsive design (mobile-friendly) and a new fun and inviting design. Check it out!

I always try to teach my clients how they can be utilizing the web to enhance their business. When I come across tools that can help them be more efficient I will notify them and help them as needed. I am always available by phone or e-mail to answer any questions my customers have. Unlike many people in my trade, I answer my phone and return messages promptly.

I was born in Hamilton, Mont. to John & Sue Ward and am the fourth of five children; all boys. The majority of my life has been lived in the beautiful town of Florence, Mont., nestled in the heart of the Bitterroot Valley. This is where I attended high school and first fell in love with design.

Art has always been a part of my life, but it was not until I took my first computer graphic design class that I found a medium that I could truly be passionate about. Since then I can’t get enough of designing and finding new ways to be creative. I am constantly searching for new ways to hone my craft and sharpen my skills.

I went to school to be a teacher and am licensed it two states: Idaho and Montana. My teaching background has allowed me to better serve my clients by helping them to understand what, why and how of my trade.
