Questions and Answers
What do you recommend to know before hiring you?
Know what is going on with your house or building. Don't let anyone scare you into expensive remedies, use common sense. Not all projects need to have huge price tags for them to be done effectively.
What we may not know about you?
Personally, I have lived in the area for over 40 years and have deep ties to our community. My family moved to the Northwest suburbs in 1969 and we have all remained in the area. It is important to me that our work is done with the highest level of professionalism achievable.
We started in this business servicing banks and foreclosed properties. Many of the properties were HUD, Fannie Mae, and Freddie Mac Homes. Others were help by private portfolio holders.
What questions should a customer ask before hiring you?

We were able to take a basement that had several dangerous types of mold present and eliminate all presence of dangerous molds and reduce the presence of others to normal levels.Remember that the presence of mold and mildew in homes and business is a normal occurrence. It is when they are left unchecked or when growing conditions are right that they become problematic. Also, everyone has different tolerance to molds so if you are having issues they might be specific to you.

We refer out the final clear for occupancy check. This involves an air quality test or a swab test.
What types of jobs are the most common?
I would like to say preventive measures. This may be true in the foreclosed property and property preservation side of our business. But for homeowners, most damage we see is in wet basements and other areas with little air circulation.
What is important to know about your profession?
Mold Remediation should be completed by trained certified technicians only. Many people think they can spray it, wash it and paint it. Don't make this mistake! Dead spores and mold are still serious health threats and remain allergens.
What kind of questions do customers ask you?
Is this going to happen again?
How many projects do you average in a year?
Currently we average over 300 projects per year. Not all are mold remediation projects but many of them have elements of this service. Dealing with foreclosed properties, there is always a concern of mold and use of proper preservation practices to prevent the occurrence of mold.A dollars worth of preventive measure can save you thousands of dollars in remediation expense.
How can we save money hiring you?
Do it right the first time. You need to cure the cause of the water intrusion or high humidity before rebuilding.First, remove the Mold and Spores. Second, determine the cause. Third, fix the source of water or humidity. Fourth, get an air quality test. Fifth, Rebuild.
