We specialize in wedding receptions but have entertained business clients with up to 1,000 guests. We service the entire state of Michigan especially the Mid-Michigan area.
I am Francis Horvath, and I am the owner/operator and take a lot of personal pride in matching our services to the client. Regardless of budget I can match our services to the client to give them great value and deliver beyond what they thought they could afford. I am now offering decor, lighting, slide programs and other features to make the event one to remember and an enjoyable evening. Experience and dedication to our services can not be replicated easily. I have told that my people skills to read a group of people and sense what music to play is uncanny. I hope that you will consider our services for your next function in the State of Michigan and I look forward to hear from you to confirm that our services will meet the expectations of your event.

Questions and Answers
What kind of questions do customers ask you?
The number one question that rolls of from every ones tongue is "What are your prices" that might be a legitmate question if you are purchasing a commodity, or something tangible like a TV or a car repair. I wish that customers would realize that there are many factors that go in to answering that question. That is why I ask many questions about what they have in mind. I tailor my answer to the function and of course to the style of the event
What types of jobs are the most common?
I would have to say that 80% of my bookings are wedding receptions followed by corporate functions and then family type functions which include anniversaries, class reunions, birthday celebrations and any type of functions where music either in the background or part of the celebration is important.
Do you offer any service after finishing the work?
I follow up with them to make sure that they were please with our services and offer them and their friends a coupon for discounts on any future services.
What questions should a customer ask before hiring you?
I would recommend listening very closely to how they answer questions and in the manner that they respond.Experience is key, personality that you can work with, their music library, is the DJ responsive to listen to what you have in mind for the function. These are all key elements to make sure that you have the right person. Do not let your budget dictate your final decision. There are many DJ's who do a great job that do not cost an arm and a leg.
How can we save money hiring you?
The best advice I could give in this regards is that you do not have to get a second mortgage to get quality services. You will just have to balance your desires with your budget and make an informed decision on what are your best options. Sometimes good things do come in a package that might surprise you with their value.
How many projects do you average in a year?
I perform at approximately 25-30 bookings a year but that can vary with the seasons.
What we may not know about you?
I love what I do and would not trade anything to not be able to perform and make you, your guests, family, friends,co-workers enjoy a great celebration.
What do you recommend to know before hiring you?
Have a plan in place, all announcements, an idea of the music that might be required, a timeline of the events, names of the people that are actively involved in the event (I.E.) contact persons.
What are you most proud of?
I was the DJ in the Bannister area for a couple that were overseas in China for the past year. Most of the planning was done via e-mail since they were not in the U.S.A. They had actually booked me from China and I have to say that was the longest geographical distance that someone has reserved me from except for a couple from England.
I was in many bands before I started Nightwatch Productions in 1985 and while I truly enjoyed being in bands the frustration was not being able to take care of requests. I started to think about that dilema and then realized that the best way to make as many people happy as possible why not bring out the orginal music performed by the orginal artist instead of trying to copy it. The best part is that the people at the function were happy and dancing.
What is important to know about your profession?
In the 30 years of my trade I have met the most wonderful people and had the experiences that I will treasure forever. The people in the Wedding industry are 95% committed to making your day and celebration wonderful. Trust in their skills, expertise and knowledge. Relax you are usually in good hands, let your vendors know what you expect they are not mind readers. Do not try and control every aspect of the function because if you had the sense your vendor could do the job than let them practice their skills.
