Questions and Answers

  • Do you offer any service after finishing the work?
Quick quality and proven service. My aim is to have the photos ready for within 24 - 72 hrs. Additionally, I provide high resolution photos at 300 dpi for larger prints. Customers also get their photos on a thumb drive (up to 4gb).
  • What is important to know about your profession?
When one is engaged in something he feels passionately about, it shows in the quality of his work. Photography is a calling for me. I come alive with a camera in my hands and I tend to capture that precious moment.
  • How did you get started?
Honestly, I hated photography when I attended journalism school while I was in the US Navy. Until this day, I cannot tell you how I passed the required 3-day photography course. About a year ago, all that changed. I had, what I call a moment of insanity. It was a spur of the moment thing. I told my girlfriend that I wanted a camera. Within a few hours, I was at a Ritz store and I purchased a Canon EOS 60D. One year later, there is hardly any available date on my calender. I have been blessed with clients and I have falling in love with photography. This is my calling and I can stay up all night editing photos. So in a nutshell, it has been one wonderful, fun-filled, blessed year for me.
  • How can we save money hiring you?
Hire me. I have a quick turnaround and my prices are very competitive. Because photography is my passion, I thoroughly enjoy it and it shows in the quality of my work.
  • What we may not know about you?
I often tell my colleagues that the best pictures I have ever taken in my professional career are the in-between shots. That candid shot when the subject is unassuming, that is where the real emotion lies. The result of such photo is usually awe inspiring.
  • What are you most proud of?
My work for the Wounded Warrior fundraising event at the National Press Club in Washington, DC. As a fellow veteran, I was honored to be a part of something so significant in the lives of men and women who sacrifice everything, everyday to preserve the foundations of this great nation. As someone who is a foreigner, I have come to love and embrace the ideal of this great nation. My military service to this nation is the highest point in my life and up until this day, the skills that I gained from serving in the greatest Navy in the whole world, are the same skills that lead me to find my calling. So taking photos that helps to promote awareness and gathering support for our wounded warriors is by far my most remarkable project.
  • What do you recommend to know before hiring you?
  • A budget
  • Detailed information about your event(s)
  • Your expectations
  • Location information of the event and lighting condition
  • Time of the event
  • Most importantly, what type of event (wedding..etc)
  • What questions should a customer ask before hiring you?
I believe that a client should ask for previous work; and most importantly, the time frame to complete any given project.
  • What kind of questions do customers ask you?
Customers often ask for a quote. I think it is a great place to start from the customers perspective but I believe that it is equally important for the photographer to know what type of service is being requested so that he or she can make professional recommendations and plan accordingly for the work.
  • What types of jobs are the most common?
  • Weddings
  • Bridal shower
  • Baby showers
  • Baby photos
  • Engagement shoots
  • Gala
  • Charity events
  • Birthday parties
  • Sporting events
  • How many projects do you average in a year?
I average between twenty (20) to fifty (50) projects per year.
