Pragmatic Staging Solutions specializes in home staging both vacant homes and occupied homes.
We share our experience from "flipping" several investment properties, as well as managing out of town clients' preparations to sell their homes, with our clients to help them determine which upgrades will yield positive returns on investment.
Clients save a lot of time and money following our recommendations on what are the highest priority tasks to ensure a home makes a fabulous first (and lasting) impression with potential home buyers.
We work with many brands and products as well as can recommend many service professionals (e.g., painters, flooring specialists, handyman services, movers, etc.). We enjoy many discounts through our Staged Homes affiliation including paint discounts (usually better than even painting professionals), appliances, storage units, etc.
Questions and Answers
How many projects do you average in a year?
We handle many concurrent longer term projects (long term interior design projects as well as home staging jobs where we manage the home renovations and then the ultimate staging) while performing one or two day stagings. We are happy to do as much or as little as the client wants so in some cases we just provide some hourly consultations with homeowners to pinpoint tasks that should be performed prior to listing a home. The number varies depending on the time of year (winter is typically slower for home staging) and if we are working on larger projects but the most stagings we have done in a week was three and the least stagings we have done in a month is two.
What questions should a customer ask before hiring you?
Customers should ask to see a home stager's portfolio of before and after images, what are your qualifications, what is the success rate of the stager in both time on market as well as sales price of the properties s/he has staged, what the overall philosophy of home staging the stager follows (i.e., what rooms will be staged and to what level), and for references from both real estate agents and clients. Also, customers should ask for a guarantee on the stager's work. Pragmatic Staging Solutions priority is obtaining our customer's complete satisfaction.
Do you offer any service after finishing the work?
We offer our clients complementary listings.Included in our service fees is the destaging of the home after all of the contingencies have been removed (or the client deems it is time to destage).
What are you most proud of?
Because Pragmatic Staging Solutions strives to go "above and beyond" on every job we undertake and are not satisfied unless we have met or exceeded our client's expectations, we are proud of every job we perform. However, the most satisfying jobs are the ones where the client can't believe the transformation a relatively small investment has made or the ones where the client is under stressful situations (e.g., unwanted move, handling a parent's estate, etc.) and we have eased their burden. We have had several clients say we "saved their life". That is when we are most proud.
Pragmatic Staging Solutions got started at the urging of friends and acquaintances to share our skills and knowledge by starting a company that offers both home staging services as well as interior decorating services. We sought out the most reputable staging companies and found that most had been accredited through Staged Homes. We took classes through Staged Homes and received the Accredited Staging Professional degree.
