We often get asked about our carpet cleaning solution so I thought I would mention it. Our cleaning solution is a 100% all natural, proprietary blend of ingredients taken/harvested directly from the earth we call home. We use NO soaps or shampoos or any carcinogenic chemicals. Our cleaning solution is safe for everyone and everything EXCEPT dirt and stains. Unfortunately, it destroys them.
So for a top quality carpet cleaning from a company that you can trust, contact us today!
We specialize in carpet pile restoration and stain removal. However, there are many other things we specialize in as well. For instance, we get a lot of oriental rugs that need to be professionally cleaned and people simply don't trust just anyone to clean a $30,000 oriental rug. We also specialize in emergency water extraction as well. When your home gets flooded and you don't know what to do, that's where we help walk you through the necessary steps to get your home dried out and your life back on track.
Another specialty we offer is per urine/odor treatment and removal. Not all urine odors can be removed 100% because that's simply impossible. However, our unique blend of all natural ingredients tend to neutralize pet urine in carpet leaving the odor difficult to detect unless you stick your nose on the carpet and smell it.
We don't work with any brands because after being in the carpet cleaning industry for so long, we have see the results of a lot of the major brand carpet cleaning solutions and tile and grout cleaning solutions. After seeing so many issues with customer health, indoor air quality, residue, redo's, and wick back problems, we decided to try to develop an process and cleaning solution that leaves customers' carpets clean and fresh, but also does not have any harsh chemicals and will not leave any type of residue. With this in mind, we came up with an all natural cleaning solution derived from elements taken directly from the earth. Of course they have been cleaned and filtered, but it came from the earth and is in no way, shape, or form, any type of manufactured carpet cleaning solution. Our cleaning solution contains no glycerin or oils, therefore no residue. It also contains no carcinogens unlike most of the carpet cleaning chemicals out there today.
Questions and Answers
What do you recommend to know before hiring you?
Before hiring a professional carpet cleaner, you should always have the following information available so that the carpet cleaning company you are calling can give you an accurate estimate and avoid any problems that my arise from confusion. You will need to know the square footage of your home and the areas to be cleaned. This is not an absolute necessity, but it does help the carpet cleaners know how big the area is so they can give you an accurate price. If you are having furniture cleaned, it's nice if you know what type of fabric it is and the length of it. This helps identify the fabric because not all fabrics are cleaned the same.
I got started about 15 years ago, working in my parent's Chem Dry carpet cleaning franchise in Moreno Valley. I spent many years working for them, going through all the training and certifications that are offered to Chem Dry franchisees. Once I got all the certifications, I spent a good deal of time working on the idea and the plan behind my new carpet cleaning business. I did all the research on the demographics of the Redlands area, along with the Riverside and San Bernardino areas as well, and then put my plan to action and what you see today is the result of a lot of planning, research, work, time, energy, and my upset wife because I won't stop thinking about business.
What types of jobs are the most common?
The most common types of jobs for us are our whole house combo jobs. Those jobs entail cleaning all the carpet, all the furniture, all tile and grout, and all air ducts in a home. This is an all day process but when we are done, you have the cleanest home in the neighborhood, guaranteed. We offer this service because it is just more cost effective and sensible to do it all at the same time. Especially since we offer financing, there should be no reason to not be able to afford to have your whole home cleaned once a year from top to bottom.A you familiar with all of the indoor air quality studies done here in California? Not looking good. Well our service helps keep your indoor air quality at a healthy level by cleaning all your carpet, tile, upholstery, and air ducts and removing all of the airborne pathogens and dust mites. We can also add your mattresses to the package for an ultimate clean.
Do you offer any service after finishing the work?
Once we have completed cleaning your carpet, we offer speed drying, deodorizing, and sealing/protecting. We can speed dry your carpet or tile and grout once we are done cleaning. This service is not charged for, but only done upon request from the customer. We offer a free deodorizer as well that has a mild citrus smell and we offer that at no charge as well. Please don't confuse "deodorize" with "sanitize" as they are two entire different things and are often confused when declared by someone not educated in the carpet cleaning industry. Lastly we offer sealing or protecting of either the carpet, upholstery, or grout that was cleaned. These services ARE charged separately from the the actual carpet cleaning, upholstery cleaning, or tile and grout cleaning service.
What questions should a customer ask before hiring you?
The first question I would ask a professional carpet cleaner is if they have insurance. If I were hiring a company to come to my home to clean my carpet, I would want to make sure that company was insured in case of any accidental damage occurring. The second question I would ask a professional carpet cleaner is how many years of experience they have. I would want to know that the person cleaning the carpet in my home was a seasoned professional and not a newbie. No offense to the newbies, I would just want my carpet cleaned right the first time without hassle. The third question I would ask a professional carpet cleaner is what types of cleaning solutions/chemicals they use. The reason for this is that MOST carpet cleaning chemicals contain carcinogens, heavy amounts of glycerin, and oils that leave residues. The carcinogens cause cancer and the glycerin and oils leave a film on the carpet that is difficult to remove once a build up has occured. So I would want all natural, no soap or shampoo.
How many projects do you average in a year?
I'm not sure how relevant this question is for my industry but sure, I'll answer that.On average we do 3-4 jobs per day per truck. We work six days per week. So based on a 50 week work year, with an average of 3 jobs per day, that would put us in the 900 jobs per year per truck bracket. Don't use common core math or you won't figure that one out for a while. In all honesty, it's probably more like 750 jobs per year per truck. When you take into consideration cancellations, weather, traffic, and other circumstances beyond out control, things happen and jobs don't end up getting done. So an honest answer without looking at my books, I would say about 750 jobs per year per truck. Final answer!
How can we save money hiring you?
Well that depends on the service they are actually looking for. We have many options available including financing. Financing for carpet cleaning you ask? Yep. Because we are not the cheap carpet cleaners in Redlands, sometimes the price can be a bit more than the average person can afford in one big chunk so we offer a convenient 90 payment/financing option as well as financing though PayPal. This option is best for people who are in a bind, for example, Christmas time when money is short because of gift buying. You have relatives coming and need to get your carpet, upholstery, and tile and grout cleaned, and maybe even have your air ducts cleaned so that your home is nice a fresh for your company. Well to do all of that would be quite a chunk of change, hence the financing options to help our loyal customers.
What kind of questions do customers ask you?
Question: How much do you charge to clean carpet?Question: Why should I pay you when I can go rent a carpet cleaning machine and do it myself for a lot less?Answer: For sure. You can definitely rent a machine and do it a LOT cheaper than what it would cost to have us do it for you. Let me ask you this.... Do you do your own dental work? What about your own gall bladder surgery? Too much? How about changing your own oil in your car? I thought so. That's why you leave the job to a professional. I don't pull my own teeth or fill my own cavities nor do I change my own oil. Everyone has a profession and mine is carpet cleaning. Leave it to a professional.
What are you most proud of?
The job I am most proud of is one of only TWO jobs I ever had to refund money on. This was approximately 8 months ago.I got a call to clean some carpet in Riverside and the job was to be a living room, dining room, and hall. The customer said they had a bad dog urine problem. I am very good and pretty darn confident in my abilities to help eliminate odor from dog urine in carpet but this case was a bit different.I got to the job and could smell the urine before I even pulled in the driveway. No joke, it was that bad. I went in and it was an elderly couple with a couple rambunctious dogs that had peed everywhere. In some places it was hard like concrete, no exaggeration. Long story short, I got out 10% of the smell and there was no way of getting the stain out. The dogs had peed in the same spot hundreds of times. The couple was thrilled and loved it and I couldn't understand why. In my mind, I failed, miserably, but in their minds, I was a hero because their daughter would now come visit. I did not charge a dime because I wasn't happy with the results, so you can stand assured that if YOU are not happy, you simply won't be charged.
What is important to know about your profession?
Personally I wish customers knew that not just anyone can be a professional carpet cleaner. I wish they knew that there is science and chemistry involved as well as mathematics and psychology. I bet most people have absolutely no clue about any of those things. In order to clean carpet, upholstery, or tile and grout, you must know chemistry, ph levels, and must be able to identify fibers, stain types, and probably cleaning remedies. Does this sound like a fool's profession? How about oriental hand tufted area rugs that bleed dye? A fools profession? Not just anyone can be a professional carpet cleaner but most people believe that if you spend a couple hundred bucks or a couple grand on a little carpet cleaning machine, they can call themselves a professional carpet cleaner. Not how it works. It takes time, education, on the job experience, and training in real life situations.
What we may not know about you?
I'm sure there is a lot that customers don't know about me or my company. Here are some things you may find interesting:We give a good portion of our income to helping those in need. We realize there are people out there that are in situations that cannot be helped and we like to make sure we do our part in making the world a better place. I would like to think that other businesses to the same, but the harsh reality is that they don't because they need their nice big house while little brother starves on the street. Well that's not us. We care, I care.Ten percent of everything we make is given to charity, no joke, no exaggeration, and no lie. We don't do this as a means to gain attention, it's for those that are less fortunate than us.
