Brands

Since we stand behind our work for LIFE, we have no option but to use the best materials available. Right now, RoofPro primarily endorses CertainTeed shingles and underlayments, specifically the Landmark line. More information on the Landmark line of shingles is available from the CertainTeed website, http://www.certainteed.com.

Our commercial roofing division primarily endorses Mule-Hide brand EPDM products, however, commercial projects, due to the extensive planning and engineering involved, usually contain materials from many different manufacturers. Still, our clients can rest assured knowing that all our materials are top-shelf, carry an extended warranty, meet Green/LEEN building standards and local/international business codes, and meet the highest standards of quality and after-installation service.

Questions and Answers

  • What kind of questions do customers ask you?
How can you offer a lifetime warranty, when none of your competitors do?This one is simple: We use the best materials, and the best Master Craftsmen to install them. We back our new residential roofing systems up with a Lifetime Limited Workmanship Warranty. This warranty covers any and all defects caused by defective workmanship or poor installation methods. In addition, most of our materials carry a lifetime material warranty, so they are guaranteed against manufacturer's defects, as well.As a business, unfortunately, we cannot warrant other firms' workmanship or materials, as we do not know what materials or methods they used for installation. That information, combined with the fact that a repair to a roof does not guarantee the structural stability of the roofing system as a whole, prevents us from offering a lifetime workmanship warranty on our repairs. However, you will find that our warranty on repair work is still the best in the industry. For our commercial clients, if you have ever had a commercial roof installed, you know that no commercial materials or workmanship are guaranteed for life. After all, the life of a corporation can easily be hundreds of years. However, our commercial products still carry the best material warranties in the industry, and we will match the terms of the material warranty on our workmanship warranty. In either case, residential or commercial, you can rest assured that RoofPro, Inc has our clients' safety, security, and resale value in mind.
  • What do you recommend to know before hiring you?
The customer should know, and make readily available to consultants, their priorities. Some customers are looking to solve an immediate problem, such as a failed or leaking roof. Other customers are seeking to eliminate the problem before it exists by reroofing or replacing the roof prior to the expiration of the existing roof system. These customers are looking for the peace of mind that comes with knowing that the best materials and workmanship are already installed, and problems are guaranteed not to exist.Still other customers are looking to increase the value of their home, either resale value or aesthetic values. Either way, this customer is interested in the best materials available in perfect color and design matches. This customer typically knows what he/she wants, and should be willing to meet with the consultant and explain exactly what he/she is looking for.In any case, the customer should evaluate their position and motivation for reroofing their structure, and should be prepared to answer questions about that motivation. Additionally, customers should be prepared to admit a lack of knowledge when required. Some customers think that roofing is simple, then when faced with a question they don't know the answer to, they attempt to "bluff" their way through the meeting, only compounding the questions and creating a communication block even before the project begins. As always, RoofPro, Inc employs highly trained and experienced consultants available any time to answer any questions that a customer or potential customer may have!
  • How can we save money hiring you?
Consider the long-term costs of repair and care vs. the cost of a new roof. Always compare bids, and NEVER go with the cheapest bid based on price along. There is savings in value, not cost alone! Many customers are not aware of the different shingle compositions and installation techniques. Our Shingle Quality Specialists and Master Craftsmen can meet with potential clients and consult with them at no cost to determine the most cost-effective solution to whatever their needs!
  • Do you offer any service after finishing the work?
  • LIFETIME WARRANTY on all New Roof Systems!
  • (Inspect, Repair/Replace/Reimburse as needed)
  • Inspections
  • Repairs
  • Follow-Up as needed
  • Consultation for additional projects as needed
  • What types of jobs are the most common?
Typically, we work with homeowners on residential roofs, either in subdivisions, residential neighborhoods, or in rural areas. The average job process goes as such:We receive the "lead," either from an inquiry on our website, a phone call, or a visit. We dispatch a certified inspector to examine the roof/project, discuss the deficiencies in the roof system and compare the home's needs with the homeowner's wants, and recommend no less than three different solutions. The homeowner then decides on a system, with the inspector or project manager readily available to answer any questions, and the project is scheduled. The materials are ordered and scheduled for delivery, and usually, a temporary roll-off dumpster is set up.In the event of a "lay-over," very little demolition is required. But usually, we'll begin by tearing off all the existing roof materials down to the decking, which is the OSB, plywood, or other substrate attached to the rafters or trusses. This allows us to inspect the decking and determine if it meets quality and safety specifications, or if it is damaged. If damage is present, we remove the damaged decking and replace it with new material in accordance with prevailing building codes. After the tear-off is complete, the roof is "dried in." This means that the roof is made temporarily watertight using underlayment. Underlayment, also known as felt, comes in many different varieties and products, and does many different things. However, the most important quality of underlayment at this stage is to waterproof the exposed decking. The project manager will work with the homeowner to select the appropriate underlayment. After the roof is dried in, our professional crew begins installing the shingles, flashing, and accessories, such as vents. Upon completion, the yard is magnetically rolled to remove any nails, and the dumpster is hauled off for recycling/disposal. The homeowner is left with a new quality roofing system!
  • How did you get started?
Started in 2008. After returning from a second tour in Iraq, the owner, Chris, began working with a local contracting company, gaining valuable experience in contracting and roofing. After working his way to the top, becoming a partial owner, Chris decided to branch out and do his "own thing," offering superior services and premium materials to customers at market competitive rates, and backing them up for LIFE!
  • How many projects do you average in a year?
RoofPro, Inc, averages about 2 projects per week during the busy season (April through November), and about one per week during the off season. While RoofPro conducts a large quantity of business, each client is assigned a dedicated Project Manager who is available 24/7 to answer their questions and provide valuable insight and experience. Each customer is treated like our ONLY customer!
  • What questions should a customer ask before hiring you?
  • Can you provide a written estimate?
  • Are you insured/licensed?
  • What type of material warranty is included STANDARD?
  • What are the requirements for the extended warranty?
  • What type of labor warranty do you offer standard?
  • What type(s) of labor warranty are optional?
  • What cost (if any) are associated with the warranties?
