Not sure if it is the same Sam Esposito but it sounds like it is. Hired him for a replacement of a deck and back stairs. The job started in April and was supposed to be finished by Memorial Day. It was finished in October if you can call it finished. He was paid up front and only when I agreed to an additional amount did he "finish" so he could get the additional money. He never pulled the proper permit and he does not carry comp insurance. If you threaten him with a complaint he will threaten you with bodily harm, and yes he has a criminal record. He is a disgrace to his grandfather and the family name.

Sam started working on various projects on my house back in February 2014 and it is now late August 2014. None of the projects are finished and I was the idiot who paid him in full up front. I have been trying to get him to come back to finish for the last 4 months to no avail. He was using my garage as a storage unit until I told him to get his crap out or I would leave it on the curb. Today I had to call the police on him because he was making death threats to me and my family. This guy is insane and yes he does have a vast criminal past. Don't make the same mistake by hiring this guy. He is a fraud and he is dangerous.
