The Flying Locksmiths is a 3rd generation owned family business. It has maintained family values while staying atop the changes in the security industry.
-
What is important to know about your profession?
Locksmiths have gotten a bad reputation in the past ten years due to organized criminals invading the space, particularly exploiting individuals in vulnerable situations (being locked out of home or car).I wish customers to know that there are hundreds of noble and honest locksmiths out there and with due diligence you should be able to find one that will deliver you excellent service at an honest price.

What types of jobs are the most common?

-
How can we save money hiring you?
If you want to save money do your research. We encourage customers to take a long view on their expenses. An inexpensive service provider may cost you less now, but will have you pay more in time and cost in the long run.
The Flying Locksmiths started in 1946. After 70 successful years in Boston, the Flying Locksmiths decided to go national in 2015. We anticipate having 50 locations open by the end of 2016.

What kind of questions do customers ask you?
The most frequent question we get from customers is "cool name, where did it come from?" The name came from the original founder, a WWII veteran who while started a lock shop was also training to become a pilot. He combined his two passions to produce the name "The Flying Locksmiths"
