The Good Samaritan

Quality Mobile Mechanic in Marietta, GA

Marietta, GA

About The Good Samaritan

My name is Matthew Colozzi and I am an independent mobile mechanic with services including roadside assistance, minor repair work and specializes in vehicle diagnostics.

I am an ASE certified on automotive parts and very knowledgeable in all automotive systems and function.

I have made house-calls for things as minor as an oil change or OBDII reading for people who want to avoid ridiculous labor fees and upselling.

Having worked in several automotive businesses, I know first hand how these companies are encouraged, sometimes demanded to take advantage of people who do not have an automotive understanding.

I am not a class A mechanic, but I have a great deal of knowledge and experience to offer and do not have overhead, so I am quite affordable.

I operate within a 15 mile radius of my home near intersection of Piedmont and Sandy Plains Rd in Marietta. Hourly rates are subjective. I can come up with a good estimate depending on your needs.

Feel free to contact me today!

I specialize in diagnostic, minor engine repair, preventative maintenance, brakes and roadside assistance.

Is it safe to drive like this? Answer depends on situation, but usually yes, it's safe, but you will get fewer miles per gallon and cannot pass an emissions test

I go to school and needed to make some extra money. I have always offered help to motorists in distress so I thought why not extend this service and give people a better solution to their problems.

Last month I was getting a hair-cut and talking with the hair-stylist. The topic of cars came up and she mentioned she had a tire that was low on air. i offered to fill it with my portable compressor when i noticed a nail in it. With no spare in her trunk, i offered to take the tire off, brought it to a nearby tire shop, and used their tire machine to dismount, patch, remount and balance her damaged tire then returned to put the tire back on. I didn't want any money, I just enjoyed being able to help someone out because of certain abilities that I have

Any vehicle information, such as make, model, year, engine size, and brief description of the problem

I am originally from Boston, have worked in the automotive field as a job often in the last fifteen years. I go to school , but my affinity for helping people, coupled with my experience, this just made sense.

Most businesses in this trade are either large companies that push for upsales due to making goals for their shareholders or small businesses owned by greedy dishonest people who do not care about their employees nor their customers. Both demand dishonest sales practices to make money whether you need it or not

That is my standard practice with customers and non-customers alike.
