Interior and exterior remodeling and repairs

I will suggest better quality brands to ensure that the customer gets the best value for their investment. I am not a sales person, and I live on a budget too do I don't like seeing my customers spend more then they need to for the best quality.

In the winter I do a lot of kitchen and bath remodels. In the summer exterior, roofs, decks, fences, patio covers.

I provide a free annual home checkup. This is a way to give peice of mind that the home is in good shape and identify any problems that need addressed.

If we are doing exterior work an official site survey is needed. For any job the more ideas for materials and style the better.

To save money and time on your project, do your homework have pictures available if possible. Also buy materials that are on sale. Also helping with the demo and cleanup saves a lot of time.

There is a lot of approaches you can take to manage a project. It is important to talk through a project from start to finish with your contractor. Ask about the planning, keeping the site orderly, cleanup. Also the crews that will be on site, howling have they been working with the contractor.

We remodeled a ranch style home to make it Accesable for a Handi cap couple. Replaced flooring with a wood laminate, built ramps up a step, opened up bathrooms and the shower including grab bars in shower and at the toilets. Then totally opened up the kitchen and added a 45 SQFT eat in island. It came out amazing. The owner was so happy they asked me to build a shop room in the garage and a tack room in the barn.

Do the changes being made meet the current building codes and are you required to pull a permit for this kind of work?

I do a lot of small jobs and a few big projects every year. Many weeks I help 2-3 customers. Larger jobs can take over a month, depending on the scope of what we are doing.

I've been doing construction since I was a young child. My dad has always been a very hands on person and taught me the basic skills I use today. I worked on a construction crew in high school. Then installed kitchens with a cabinet company for 10 years before I started my own buisness in 2003.
